The 1997 EP Release / Double-A Sided Single "Gettin' Blue" / "I'd Like To!" was originally released on Century Vista Records International (USA). This was the follow-up single to Born 2 B's first Double-A Sided US Single, "The Band Played The Boogie" / "Can We Start Over".

"Gettin' Blue" is a raw slice of Hip-Hop Funk, courtesy of Byron Byrd of Funk Band Sun and current member of the Soul/Disco band Heatwave. Featuring Guest Vocals from DJ Vee Dub (RIP My Brother), Reggae artists FastText, Tweetie Banton and Candie Man, plus Byron Byrd and Tiffani Byrd. Born 2 B is in Dirty Ass Seduction Mode as he tells his female admirer what he plans to do with her once the lights go low!

Born 2 B adds a Rare Groove / R&B element to his Hip-Hop flavour on "I'd Like To!", featuring the stunning R&B vocalist Marlene Quest. Paying homage to the Eighties Ladies and Nova Casper's 80's Rare Groove Classic "Turned On To You", Born 2 B turns to his Sound System days for inspiration.

As a bonus track, we have included the MC Merlin Remix of his first US Single release, "Can We Start Over".
